Just to say a big "thank you" to you for organising our recent trip to the Algarve. We had an fabulous time and the organisation was fantastic. We managed to get our favourite room on the 5th floor at the Dona Filipa - I'm not sure how many strings you pulled but it was excellent.

For your information (and definitely NOT in the way of complaining) our "welcome" at the airport was a bit of a disaster; it may be easier for you to to just give people directions to the car rental desk. Other than this the booking was faultless and we have highly recommended you to our friends.

Thank you, once again,

Regards,

We had a wonderful holiday. The Dona Filipa is an old hotel - but in my opinion very classy. Maybe it is even a little tired looking - blankets instead of duvets on the beds, old fashioned furniture and the lifts seemd to take for ever.

However, the staff were very friendly and very polished. They just couldn't do enough for us. And we wanted for nothing. The breakfast was also very good, and fresh, which isn't always the case.

The taxi service to the golf course was excellent - every 40 minutes, and San Lorenzo itself was beautiful. According to the notice board there, the proper green fee each day should have been 145 euros, so you got a great deal for us.

Being there for only five days we were a bit lazy, and didn't venture far to eat. There are only a limited number of restaurants nearby - and these were very expensive - around 60 euros for lunch/dinner for two with a bottle of wine and water. A reasonable bottle of wine (Pinot Grigio) was 20 euros. We tried the "house" at 10 euros but it tasted like paint stripper!

There was an evening buffet available in the hotel, but this started at 47 euros per person without wine, and we thought this was extortionate and didn't bother!

Just a short note to say "thank you".

Everything was 'spot on', including the weather.

Many thanks from everyone in my party for the smooth running of the holiday.

Barrie.
